حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّ

ى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى كُلِّ أَثَرِ صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ إِلَّا الْفَجْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ

English Translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: I used to think that the bottoms of the feet were more deserving of being wiped than the tops, until I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping their tops.
