حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ ع

َنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَبْعَثُكَ فِيمَا بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُسَوِّيَ كُلَّ قَبْرٍ وَأَطْمِسَ كُلَّ صَنَمٍ

English Translation

It was narrated from Muhammad bin ‘Ali that his father said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a large head, big eyes, long eyelashes, reddish eyes, a thick beard, and a pinkish colour. When he walked he would lean forward as if he was walking uphill, and when he turned he would turn with his whole body. And he had large hands and feet.
