Hadith #4

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ سَحُولِيَّةٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلاَ عِمَامَةٌ ‏.‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three white Sahooli garments, and there was no shirt among them, nor a turban.
