Hadith #9

Arabic Text

وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَتْ تُرْسِلُ إِلَى بَعْضِ أَهْلِهَا بَعْدَ الْعَتَمَةِ فَتَقُولُ أَلاَ تُرِيحُونَ الْكُتَّابَ

English Translation

Malik related to me that he heard that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, sent a message to one of her family after the evening prayer, saying, "Will you not allow the recording angel to rest?
