The Book of Funerals

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، ح أَنْبَأَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُ
ولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ ضَرَبَ الْخُدُودَ وَشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ وَدَعَا بِدُعَاءِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ " . وَاللَّفْظُ لِعَلِيٍّ وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ " بِدَعْوَى " .

English Translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'He is not one of us who strikes his cheeks, rends his garment, calls out the calls of the Jahiliyyah
