أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ

عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رضى الله عنه قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .

English Translation

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins
