English Translation
Saeed bin Abi Hind (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "Mutarrif entered upon 'Uthman" and he narrated something similar in Mursal from. Abu Hurairah said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Fasting is a shield."' (Sahih)
