The Book of Wills
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ فَإِنَّ سَالِمًا أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ تَمُرُّ عَلَيْ
هِ ثَلاَثُ لَيَالٍ إِلاَّ وَعِنْدَهُ وَصِيَّتُهُ ". قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ مَا مَرَّتْ عَلَىَّ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ وَعِنْدِي وَصِيَّتِي.

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that the Prophet (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "It is not befitting for a Muslim to abide for three nights without having his will with him."
