The Book of ad-Dahaya (Sacrifices)
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْد
ِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الضَّحَايَا بَعْدَ ثَلاَثٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ " كُلُوا وَتَزَوَّدُوا وَادَّخِرُوا " .

English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that:the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade eating the meat of the sacrificial animals after three days then he said: "Eat, take some with you (if traveling). And store some." ( Sahih)
