The Book of Cutting off the Hand of the Thief

Arabic Text

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَطَعَ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلاَثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ ‏.‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that:the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cut off (a thief's hand) for a shield which cost three Dirhams
