أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ هِشَ

Body (Matn)

امِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ لَمْ تُقْطَعْ يَدُ سَارِقٍ فِي أَدْنَى مِنْ حَجَفَةٍ أَوْ تُرْسٍ وَكُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا ذُو ثَمَنٍ .

English Translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that "The hand of the thief should not be cut off for anything less than a Hajafah or a Turs (two kinds of shields)," each of which was worth a (decent) price
