The Book of Adornment

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عِيسَى، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْ
دِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَتَانَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرَأَى رَجُلاً ثَائِرَ الرَّأْسِ فَقَالَ " أَمَا يَجِدُ هَذَا مَا يُسَكِّنُ بِهِ شَعْرَهُ " .

English Translation
Jabir bin 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "the Prophet ﷺ [SAW] came to us and saw a man with wild hair. He said: 'Could this man not find anything with which to calm down his hair?
