أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، سَنَةَ سَبْعٍ وَمِائَتَيْنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الصَّعْقُ بْنُ حَزْنٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ الْبَارِقِيِّ، قَالَ أَتَتْنِي امْرَأَةٌ تَسْتَف
ْتِينِي فَقُلْتُ لَهَا هَذَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ . فَاتَّبَعَتْهُ تَسْأَلُهُ وَاتَّبَعْتُهَا أَسْمَعُ مَا يَقُولُ . قَالَتْ أَفْتِنِي فِي الْحَرِيرِ . قَالَ نَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .

English Translation
It was narrated that 'Ali Al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "A woman came to me to ask a question, and I said to her: 'There is Ibn 'Umar.' So she went after him to ask him, and I went after her to hear what he would say. She said: 'Tell me about silk.' He said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAW] forbade it
