The Book of Drinks
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِير
ِينَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الْخَطْمِيَّ، قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَيْنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رضى الله عنه أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَاطْبُخُوا شَرَابَكُمْ حَتَّى يَذْهَبُ مِنْهُ نَصِيبُ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِنَّ لَهُ اثْنَيْنِ وَلَكُمْ وَاحِدٌ .

English Translation
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Yazid Al-Khatmi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, wrote to us (saying): 'Cook your drinks until the share of the Shaitan is gone, for he has two (shares) and you have one
