باب ما جاء في تقنع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صَبِيحٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُكْثِرُ الْقِنَاعَ، كَأَنَّ ثَوْبَهُ ثَوْبُ زَيَّاتٍ.
English Translation
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that “Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) would often wear the head veil, as if his robe was the robe of an oil dealer.”
