باب ما جاء في أكل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنِ ابْنٍ لِكَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْكُلُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ، الثَّلاثِ وَيَلْعَقُهُنَّ‏.‏

English Translation

Ibn al-Ka'b ibn Malik reported that his father (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to eat with his three fingers and afterwards he would lick them.”
