باب ماجاء في قراءة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلاءِ الْعَبْدِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ، قَالَتْ‏:‏ كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ قِرَاءَةَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، بِاللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَرِيشِي‏.‏

English Translation

Umm Hani' (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that “I used to hear the Qur’anic recitation of the Prophet ﷺ (Allah bless him and give him peace) during the night while I was on my pallet.”
