Chapter: The Legacy Of Sayyidina Rasoolullah
باب ماجاء في ميراث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، قَالَ: لا يَقْسِمُ وَرَثَتِي دِينَارًا وَلا دِرْهَمًا، مَا تَرَكْتُ بَعْدَ نَفَقَةِ نِسَائِي وَمُؤْنَةِ عَامِلِي فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ.
English Translation
Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported: "the Prophet ﷺ said (Allah bless him and give him peace): 'My legacy will not be distributed as gold coin, nor as silver coin. Whatever I leave beyond support for my wives and the provisions for my workman will be a charitable donation.'”
