Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَا

Body (Matn)

بِرٍ، قَالَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ أَكْلِ الْهِرِّ وَثَمَنِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَعُمَرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ لاَ نَعْرِفُ كَبِيرَ أَحَدٍ رَوَى عَنْهُ غَيْرَ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ .

English Translation

Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited eating the cat and from its price." [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Gharib. We do not know of any major (known) narrators who reports from 'Umar bin Zaid (one of the narrators) besides 'Abdur-Razzaq
