حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، سَمِعْتُ الأَعْمَشَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ ع

Body (Matn)

َمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِعُمَرَ فِي الْعَبَّاسِ " إِنَّ عَمَّ الرَّجُلِ صِنْوُ أَبِيهِ " . وَكَانَ عُمَرُ كَلَّمَهُ فِي صَدَقَتِهِ . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

English Translation

Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that that concerning Al-'Abbas, the Prophet ﷺ said to 'Umar: "Indeed, the uncle of a man is the Sinw of his father." And 'Umar had spoken to him concerning his charity
