A major hadith collection containing narrations that meet the criteria of Bukhari and Muslim but were not included in their Sahih collections. Al-Hakim compiled approximately 8,800 hadiths with his assessments of their authenticity. Adh-Dhahabi later reviewed the work and provided corrections in his Talkhis.
