الفصل الرابع والعشرون: خديجة رضي الله عنها أول من أسلم
Ibn Is-haaq said: Thereafter, the Revelation (of the entire Qur’aan) was completed for the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ (in stages and over a period of time). And he ﷺ was truthful (and sincere) in what he conveyed (from His Lord), and he faced it with full acceptance and carried the burden irrespective of if the people were pleased with him or displeased. The Prophethood is a heavy (responsibility) and (requires great) efforts and no one can bear it nor support it except those of strength and determination among the Messengers – through Allaah’s support and guidance – because of what they face from the people and their rejection of the Message which these Messengers brought. The Prophet ﷺ fulfilled all that Allaah تعاىل had Commanded him to do, irrespective of the opposition and harm he received from his people. And Ibn Is-haaq also said: Khadeejah Bint Khuwailid believed in him, and testified to the Truth which he ﷺ had brought from Allaah, and supported him in his affairs, for she was the first one to believe in Allaah and His Messenger and to testify to the truth which he had brought. Allaah تعاىل eased the burden of His Messenger through her. She did not say to him a thing which would have displeased him. She did not oppose him (in his Message) nor did she deny him – for all this would have grieved him. Allaah تعاىل made her a source of comfort whenever he ﷺ would return to her, and she would support him, lessen his burden, spend on him, and defend him. رضي اهلل عنها وأرضاها. Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي اهلل عنه: Jibreel عليه السالم came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: ❝O Messenger of Allaah! Here is Khadeejah coming to you with a dish having meat soup. When she reaches you, greet her on behalf of her Lord (Allaah) and on my behalf, and give her the glad tidings that she will have a palace in Paradise built of Qasab (jewels) wherein there will be neither any noise nor any fatigue (trouble).❞ 164 164 sahih al-Bukhaaree (1792, 3817, 3819, 3820, 5229, 6004, 7484, 7497) and sahih Muslim (2432-71, 2433-72, 2434-73, 2435-74). The narrations of giving glad tidings to Khadeejah has been reported from Abu Hurairah, `Aaishah, and `Abdullaah Ibn Ja`far, `Abdullaah Ibn Abee Aufa رضي اهلل عنهم. See al-Saheehah (1554).
