A foundational text on Arabic rhetoric (balaghah) that systematized the three branches: ma'ani (meanings), bayan (clarity), and badi' (embellishment). As-Sakkaki's classification became the standard framework for studying Arabic rhetoric and remains the basis for balaghah curricula in Islamic seminaries.
