Mukhtasar Minhaj al-Qasidin
مختصر منهاج القاصدين
An abridgment of Ibn al-Jawzi's Minhaj al-Qasidin, which itself was a purified version of al-Ghazali's Ihya Ulum ad-Din. Ibn Qudamah removed the weak and fabricated hadith from al-Ghazali's work while preserving its spiritual and ethical content. The result is a concise, hadith-verified guide to Islamic ethics and self-purification that provides the benefits of the Ihya without its problematic narrations.
