Rawdat an-Nadhir wa Junnat al-Munadhir
روضة الناظر وجنة المناظر
The most important work of usul al-fiqh in the Hanbali school. Ibn Qudamah based it on al-Ghazali's al-Mustasfa while incorporating the Hanbali perspective on legal theory, particularly regarding the authority of Companion opinions and the scope of istishab (presumption of continuity). The work is studied alongside al-Muwafaqat as one of the two pillars of Sunni legal theory.
