Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ - بِمَعْنَى الإِسْنَادِ - أَنَّ يَزِيدَ بْنَ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَهُمْ حَدَّثَنَ

Body (Matn)

ا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، أُخْتِهِ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ مَشَطْنَاهَا ثَلاَثَةَ قُرُونٍ .

English Translation

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Umm 'Atiyyah through a different chain of narrators to the same effect. This version adds:We braided her hair in three plaits
