حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِ

ي حَبِيبَةَ الطَّائِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعْتِقُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يُهْدِي إِذَا شَبِعَ " .

English Translation

AbudDarda (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: the similitude of a man who emancipates a slave at the time of his death is like that of a man who gives a present after satisfying his appetite
