حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْم
ٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلاَنٍ ". فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ، فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ".

English Translation
Abdullah bin Abu Aufa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that whenever a person came to the Prophet ﷺ with his alms, the Prophet ﷺ would say, "O Allah! Send your Blessings upon so and so." My father went to the Prophet ﷺ with his alms and the Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah! Send your blessings upon the offspring of Abu Aufa
