حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْ

Body (Matn)

نِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ أَعْتَقَ رَجُلٌ غُلاَمًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ يَشْتَرِيهِ مِنِّي ". فَاشْتَرَاهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، فَأَخَذَ ثَمَنَهُ، فَدَفَعَهُ إِلَيْهِ.

English Translation

Jabir bin `Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man pledged that his slave would be manumitted after his death. the Prophet ﷺ asked, "Who will buy the slave from me?" Nu'aim bin `Abdullah bought the slave and the Prophet ﷺ took its price and gave it to the owner
