حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ

اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الأَنْصَارِيّ َ ـ وَهُوَ جَدُّهُ أَبُو أُمِّهِ ـ قَالَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ النُّهْبَى وَالْمُثْلَةِ.

English Translation

Abdullah bin Yazid Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ forbade robbery (taking away what belongs to others without their permission), and also forbade mutilation (or maiming) of bodies
