Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ـ رضى الله عنهما كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أَتَاهُ رَجُل
Body (Matn)
ٌ بِصَدَقَةٍ قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلاَنٍ ". فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ".
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Ibn Abi `Aufa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that whenever a man brought his alms to the Prophet ﷺ, the Prophet ﷺ would say, "O Allah! Bestow Your Blessing upon the family of so-and-so." When my father came to him (with his alms), he said, "O Allah! Bestow Your Blessings upon the family of Abi `Aufa
