وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -كَانَ فِي اَلْخُطْبَةِ يَقْرَأُ آيَاتٍ مِنَ اَلْقُرْآنِ, وَيُذَكِّرُ اَلنَّاسَ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد َ 1 .1 - حسن. رواه أبو داود (1101)

ولفظه: عن جابر بن سمرة قال: كانت صلاة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قصدا، وخطبته قصدا؛ يقرأ آيات من القرآن، ويذكر الناس.

English Translation
Jabir bin Samurah (RA) (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite some verses from the Qur'an in the Friday Khutbah (religious talk - sermon), reminding the people. .
