English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a woman who had finished her menses: 'Take your water and sidr, then bathe and clean yourself thoroughly, then pour water over your head until it reaches the roots of the hair, then take a cotton ball with musk.' She asked: 'How should I use it, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Purify yourself with it.' She asked again. He said: 'Subhanallah! Purify yourself!' Aisha pulled her aside and showed her how to wipe away the traces of blood.
