Chain of Narration (Isnad)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَهْرَامَ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْش

Body (Matn)

َبٍ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ الْمَرْأَةِ تُسْتَحَاضُ؟، قَالَ :" تَنْتَظِرُ قَدْرَ مَا كَانَتْ تَحِيضُ، فَلْتُحَرِّمْ الصَّلَاةَ، ثُمَّ لِتَغْتَسِلْ، وَلْتُصَلِّ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ أَوَانُهَا الَّذِي تَحِيضُ فِيهِ، فَلْتُحَرِّمْ الصَّلَاةَ ثُمَّ لِتَغْتَسِلْ، فَإِنَّمَا ذَاكَ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُكْفِرَ إِحْدَاهُنَّ "

English Translation

It was narrated that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) was asked about the woman with abnormal bleeding. He said: 'She should wait for the duration of her normal period, then treat it as ended. She should perform ghusl and pray. When her period time comes again, she should stop.'
