أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، قَالَ : سَأ

َلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ، فَقَالَ :" تَجْلِسُ أَيَّامَ أَقْرَائِهَا، وَتَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ الظُّهْرِ إِلَى الظُّهْرِ، وَتَسْتَذْفِرُ بِثَوْبٍ، وَيَأْتِيهَا زَوْجُهَا، وَتَصُومُ "، فَقُلْتُ : عَمَّنْ هَذَا؟ فَأَخَذَ الْحَصَا

English Translation

It was narrated that Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab was asked about the woman with abnormal bleeding. He said: 'She should sit for the days of her normal menstrual period, then perform ghusl from one Dhuhr to the next, wrap herself in a cloth, and her husband may approach her.'
