أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ الْأَفْطَسِ ، قَالَ : سُئِ

لَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ : أَتُجَامَعُ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةُ؟ ، فَقَالَ :" الصَّلَاةُ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ الْجِمَاعِ "

English Translation

It was narrated that Sa'id ibn Jubayr was asked: 'May the husband of the woman with abnormal bleeding have intercourse with her?' He said: 'Prayer is greater than intercourse' — meaning if she is allowed to pray, she is also allowed to have intercourse with her husband.
