حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق

، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ :" إِذَا رَأَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ التَّرِيَّةَ بَعْدَ الْغُسْلِ بِيَوْمٍ أَوْ يَوْمَيْنِ، فَإِنَّهَا تَطَهَّرُ وَتُصَلِّي "

English Translation
Malik ibn Anas said: 'In our view, the yellow and muddy discharge that comes before the period ends is menstruation. When the period has ended and the woman has performed the ritual bath, whatever comes after is not menstruation.'
