English Translation
It was reported from al-Zuhri that he said: 'By the quru'.' Abu Muhammad (al-Darimi) said: The people of Hijaz say: 'Al-aqra' means the periods of purity (athar),' while the people of Iraq say: 'It means menstruation.' Al-Darimi said: 'And my view is that it means menstruation.'
