Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ : # وَمَا تَغِيضُ الأَرْحَامُ سورة الرعد آية 8 #، قَالَ :"
هُوَ الْحَيْضُ عَلَى الْحَبَلِ # وَمَا تَزْدَادُ سورة الرعد آية 8 #، قَالَ : فَلَهَا بِكُلِّ يَوْمٍ حَاضَتْ فِي حَمْلِهَا يَوْمًا تَزْدَادُ فِي طُهْرِهَا حَتَّى تَسْتَكْمِلَ تِسْعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ طَاهِرًا "

English Translation
It was reported from Ikrimah regarding the verse: 'And what they exceed' (Surah al-Ra'd: 8), that he said: 'For every day she menstruated during her pregnancy, she gains a day added to her period of purity until she completes nine months in a state of purity.'
