English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a woman asked her: 'Does a menstruating woman make up prayer?' She said: 'Are you a Haruri? The wives of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to menstruate, and he commanded them that it sufficed (i.e., no makeup was needed).' Abdullah (al-Darimi) said: 'Its meaning is that they do not make up prayers.'
