أَخْبَرَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ

رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" لَا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ صَلَاةً بِغَيْرِ طُهُورٍ، وَلَا صَدَقَةً مِنْ غُلُولٍ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him and his family) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution, washing each part three times. Then he said: 'Whoever adds more than this or does less has done wrong and been unjust.'
