Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل السُّدِّيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَهِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِ
ي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ لِلْجَارِيَةِ :" نَاوِلِينِي الْخُمْرَةَ "، قَالَتْ : أَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْسُطَهَا، وَيُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهَا، فَقَالَتْ : إِنَّهَا حَائِضٌ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ حِيضَتَهَا لَيْسَ فِي يَدِهَا "

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in the masjid and said to a girl: 'Pass me the prayer mat (khumrah).' She said: He wanted to spread it and pray on it. She said: 'She is menstruating.' He said: 'Her menstruation is not in her hand.'
