English Translation

It was narrated from al-Hasan regarding one who breaks his fast intentionally in Ramadan: 'He must free a slave, or give a large animal for sacrifice, or give twenty sa' to forty poor people.' Regarding one who covers his menstruating wife: 'He must give in charity' — indicating the two expiations are similar.
