حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَ

نْ أُمِّ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ :" لَا يَنْقُضْنَ عِقَصَهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْضٍ، وَلَا مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ "

English Translation
It was narrated from a woman that she said: 'They should not undo their braids for menstruation or for janabah' — indicating that if water can reach the roots without undoing the hair, it is sufficient.
