Hadith #94
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَبْدَأُ فَيَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ، ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُ كَفَّهُ فِ
ي الْمَاءِ فَيُخَلِّلُ بِهَا أُصُولَ شَعْرِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا خُيِّلَ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ قَدْ اسْتَبْرَأَ الْبَشَرَةَ، غَرَفَ بِيَدِهِ ثَلَاثَ غَرَفَاتٍ فَصَبَّهَا عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ اغْتَسَلَ "، قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : هَذَا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he performed ghusl from janabah would begin by washing his hands, then pour water with his right hand into his left and wash his private parts, then perform ablution as for prayer, then pour water over his head three times, then wash all of his body.
