Hadith #1548
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا فَرْوَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَة ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : طَلَّقَ رِفَاعَة رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَتَزَوَّجَهَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، فَدَخَلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَس
ُولَ اللَّهِ، وَاللَّهِ إِنْ مَعَهُ إِلَّا مِثْلُ هُدْبَتِي هَذِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَعَلَّكِ تُرِيدِينَ أَنْ تَرْجِعِي إِلَى رِفَاعَةَ؟ لَا، حَتَّى يَذُوقَ عُسَيْلَتَكِ أَوْ قَالَ تَذُوقِي عُسَيْلَتَهُ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: 'Rifa'ah divorced a woman from Banu Qurayza and Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Zubayr married her. She came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, all he has is like the fringe of a garment." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do you want to return to Rifa'ah? No, not until he tastes your honey and you taste his."'
