أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنْ الْأَشْعَثِ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ

وَحَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ :" لَا نَدَعُ كِتَابَ رَبِّنَا وَسُنَّةَ نَبِيِّهِ بِقَوْلِ امْرَأَةٍ : الْمُطَلَّقَةُ ثَلَاثًا لَهَا السُّكْنَى وَالنَّفَقَةُ ". أَخْبَرَنَا طَلْقُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، نَحْوَهُ

English Translation

Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'We will not abandon the Book of our Lord and the Sunnah of our Prophet because of the words of a woman: a woman who has been divorced three times is entitled to accommodation and maintenance.'
