English Translation
It was narrated from Abu al-Sanabil (may Allah be pleased with him) that Subay'ah bint al-Harith gave birth more than twenty nights after her husband's death, and when she recovered from her postpartum state she adorned herself. This was criticized. Her case was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he confirmed that she was permitted to remarry.
