Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، وَكَانَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ تُفَ
قِّهُهُ. قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَتَادَةَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بَعَثَ جَيْشَ الْأُمَرَاءِ، قَالَ : فَانْطَلَقُوا فَلَبِثُوا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ، ثُمَّ صَعِدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمِنْبَرَ،فَأَمَرَ فَنُودِيَ : الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent the Army of Commanders, and they set out. They were away as long as Allah willed, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the pulpit, commanded, and it was called out: 'Prayer is gathered!'
