Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حُرَّةَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ آخِذًا بِزِمَا
مِ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَوْسَطِ أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ أَذُودُ النَّاسَ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَ :" أَلَا إِنَّ كُلَّ رِبًا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ مَوْضُوعٌ، أَلَا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ قَضَى أَنَّ أَوَّلَ رِبًا يُوضَعُ رِبَا عَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، لَكُمْ رُءُوسُ أَمْوَالِكُمْ لَا تَظْلِمُونَ وَلَا تُظْلَمُونَ "

English Translation
It was narrated from the uncle of Abu Hurrrah al-Raqashi (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I was holding the reins of the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the middle of the days of Tashriq, keeping people away from him. He said: 'Beware! All usury from the pre-Islamic era is cancelled. Beware! Allah has decreed that the first usury to be cancelled is the usury of Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib. Your principal is yours — neither wronging nor being wronged.'
